Develops investigation work plans based on potential or known environmental conditions.Completes site investigation and remediation field work for private, municipal, and institutional clients.Reports results and recommendations to client and regulatory agencies.Major projects include:-Analyzed and summarized over 30 years of environmental investigation, remediation, and redevelopment at a major industrial redevelopment in Milwaukee to obtain case closure;-Oversaw soil excavations, completed soil sampling, and reported results to Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to aid in construction of a new university building in Milwaukee; and-Assessed a series of former industrial riverfront properties in Janesville, WI for soil and groundwater contamination and reported results to owners and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to facilitate redevelopment of underutilized land.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

I worked in the Structure, Tectonics, and Metamorphic Petrology lab. I prepared over 200 thin sections for electron microscope analysis to generate data for graduate research.In addition, I ran my own research project on physical and chemical factors on a trout stream in southeast Minnesota. I measured the in situ conditions of stream water and collected surface water samples for chemical analysis to attempt to better understand the impacts of point source inputs on the stream system.

Major experiences:-Wrote memorandum for internal and external distribution on non-contact cooling systems for residential and commercial developments along the Milwaukee River to determine environmentally and economically viable solutions-Inspected over 1,000 sanitary and storm sewers for structural integrity to identify priority repair sites and track conditions across 5-year intervals-Generated soil boring logs, data tables, and figures to prepare accurate and cost-effective reports
