Combined role of senior staff and assistant project manager reporting directly to senior project manager and PIC:- Proposal writing, project setup, budgeting, controls, scheduling, and change orders- Client and subcontractor interaction and coordination- Geotechnical report writing- Geotechnical calculations, analysis, and foundation recommendations- Mentoring junior staff engineers in special inspections responsibilities- Geotechnical and environmental field work: geotechnical/environmental subsurface sampling and logging, electrical resistivity (Wenner Method), geophysical testing oversight- Geotechnical special inspections: drilled-in displacement mini-piles (Stelcor), soldier pile drilling and installation, axial pile load testing, bedrock pressure grouting, compaction grouting, and augercast pile construction.- Geotechnical instrumentation: Thermal integrity profiling and cross-hole sonic logging of augercast piles and drilled shafts.

Primary role as senior field and resident engineer with an emphasis on urban construction - foundations and support of excavation:- Project management and field coordination for geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing for two 1-year duration contracts for green stormwater infrastructure.- Laboratory testing experience: unconsolidated-undrained strength test, sieve/gradation, water content, and Atterberg limits.- Field geotechnical investigation experience: Boring/drilling and rock coring in New York City and New Jersey, test pit excavation and logging, sonic drilling and sampling, packer testing for bedrock permeability, monitoring well installation and reading, coring cemented sands for forensic analysis, geotechnical report writing.- Geotechnical analysis experience: Finite element modeling for slope stability, shallow foundation design calculations, foundation design checks, calculations for settlement, bearing capacity, dewatering, and engineering design parameters for soils.- Instrumentation experience: crack gauge monitoring, vibration monitoring, pre-construction surveying, inclinometer readings, temperature gauge readings.- Field special inspections experience: Tie-back drilling and testing, mini-pile and rock socket drilling, welding inspection, waterproofing, secant pile drilling, pile load testing, pressure grouting in sands, soldier pile and lagging drilling and installation, backfill inspection, soil and rock subgrade inspection.

Primary role as staff field engineer:- Geotechnical analysis for dams and raw water impoundment.- Quarterly monitored slope stability and pore water pressures landfills.- Drilling inspection in Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, and New York City areas.- Geotechnical analysis of shallow foundations for new wastewater treatment plant structures.- Shallow drilling for bioswales in New York.- Conducted field investigation, laboratory testing, analysis and design for a utility relief sewer in Charlotte, NC.- Settlement analysis for various landfill projects.- Construction inspection for a gabion wall in Raleigh.

- Conducted tests on soil samples for engineering properties- Effectively prepared samples for torsional ring shear testing- Analyzed sample gradation and calculated masses for limit densities
