Developing and Estimating, efficient and cost effective assembly processes to meet customers needs, through development of standards and new innovative technology.

Main role is to improve vehicle design through Design change management, testing, and Countermeasure development in support of current production. Working closely with Honda’s design facilities, to improve vehicle designs, and supporting new model launches and ensuring past model lessons learned are applied for future production. Main responsibilities included:• Resolve production and warranty problems• Identify product themes• Give preliminary approval for design changes• Interact with designers to help resolve design issues

• Managed process design, product development and tooling design / detail supervision, while ensuring that the final product met and exceeded customers standards & requirements.• Assisted in Product development with OEM’s to ensure final product would be repeatable via a stable process.• Managed Cross-functional teams of Mechanical, Electrical, Fluid Power, PLC and Robotics engineering teams, while ensuring that tasks and requirements were clearly defined along with addressing any issues arising during the design and build phases.• Coordinated tooling build and resource management, which included the release of approved designs. Tasks included tracking progress of fabrication, assembly, and integration while ensuring that timelines were met.• Responsible for the selection of purchase components and liaising with Suppliers in all technical, budget, and timeline based aspects of the purchase items.• Ensure that the final product met all safety requirements by the customer and government regulated bodies such as TSSA, ESA and PHSR (depending on safety requirements which vary with regions).Key Accomplishments: • Successfully managed multiple international projects in varying phases simultaneously, while maintaining timelines, budgets, and ensured that quality requirements of the product were adequately met. • Contracted independently for expertise in automation, to assist in the launch of a new production Cosma facility in Brazil. Assisting in maintenance practices, production and quality control process, and training in product dimensional techniques and processes.• Created a new internal standard of tracking design deviation and tracking errors in the build of tooling, which allowed Massiv to lower internal costs.• Developed & Designed the Cosma large and high load Trunnions.• Managed and processed several SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) projects within different projects equating to over $100K in Tax credits to Massiv.

Designed and built the structure for the Massiv Automated’s internal quoting department. The quoting model subsequently allows for quick and detailed quoting which can then be directly uploadable to the internal IT system for automatic Job budget creation.Key features of the program were: • Direct export creation of a detailed budget for new Jobs.• Simple Drag and drop creation of a quote for an assembly line level as well as a detailed tool level.• Automatic and live update on purchase component costs.

Apprentice tasks varied and were tailored to maximum exposure of all aspects of tooling build and production, as well as shop maintenance.• CNC milling machine programmer and operator.• Wire EDM operator.• Small tooling fabrication, machining and finishing.• Small die-set assembly.• Managed all regular maintenance on machinery, and controlled all ISO 9002 documentation on maintenance schedule.• Forklift and Crane operator.• Assistant Shipper/Receiver.• Production Press operator
