My father bought me an Amiga 1000 back in the late 80’s and I enjoyed all the amazing software programs that it could run. Remember the Video Toaster? I miss Laser Chess. Even Lotus 123. I learned programming languages of the time such as BASIC, Pascal, and Modula-2. Even Cobol and RPG. I'm now using Python and PowerShell and read JSON and YAML. I went to college for Computer Science and Business and that set me up for a long journey in “IT”. My UNIX/IBM AIX/Linux career of 20+ years is now taking me into the multi-cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and cybersecurity. I didn’t grow up with a mobile phone in my hand even though I have one now. I threw my pager in the pool years ago. I've always embraced change and jumping in and learning new things. I have performed as a systems administrator, pre-sales and post-sales solutions architect, implementer, tester, management punching bag, and other times the executioner.
