I have spent 25 years as an investor in a wide range of fields including Life Sciences, Technology, Small Caps and Venture Capital with a focus on applying my experience of how technologies, people and business models come together to achieve commercial success. Recently I joined investment bank, Panmure Gordon, in opening a Cambridge office to raise capital for tech and life science companies in Cambridge's thriving ecosystem and throughout the UK. We often work with founders and entrepreneurs to advise them on all aspects of fundraising, and we aim to arrange syndicates with investors that can help with the company's development.Through venture building partnership, Alkamis, where I am a partner, I am also consulting to early stage life science companies to help convert excellent science to winning business propositions, preparing firms to raise investment. Celex Oncology, which is developing a new class of cancer therapeutics, is one of my main projects. Previously, I operated as Investment Director in a Life Sciences Venture Capital firm, Arix Bioscience, funding differentiated science and excellent teams.
