Defined and executed an IT strategy aligned with corporate expectations, along with a technology roadmap to modernize and remediate legacy systems, with standardization and process improvements enterprisewide. Drove early adoption of new technologies through comprehensive training, as well as security awareness, with the goal to protect data and technology assets from intrusion, corruption, and loss.Collaborative Projects (LA and Atlanta)*Led the migration of the entire organization to O365 Exchange Services (included Skype for Business). Maintained “on premises” Active Directory and synchronized with O365 to enable single sign-on between the “on-premise” network and O365. Grew an information technology department to support 100 users and meet the evolving needs of the business with responsibility for every single aspect of designing, building, and managing a modern communication and computing infrastructure.*Completely virtualized the backend system, using Microsoft Hyper-V while simultaneously reducing the IT budget. Migrated to four physical virtualized host machines with shared storage — supporting 20 virtual servers — all upgraded to Windows Server 2012.-Beyond a streamlined support footprint and reduced power requirements, provided benefits that included fail-over clustering and complete system off-site replication for disaster recovery.*As part of a modernization effort, presented project proposals to the executive staff that were comprised of projected budgets and completion timelines. Quickly gained approval based on comprehensive plans.-Managed a server migration project to Windows Server 2008R2 and Exchange/Outlook that included both physical and VMware ESXi environments.
