Manage internal & external training and development encouraging a learning culture across the organisation in order to build a high performance workforce.Learning and Development• Develop and deliver a comprehensive learning & development strategy which meets employee needs and delivers on business strategy• Ensuring effective management of training and career development to enable people to grow and progress, and align this to performance management as required• Undertaking learning needs assessment to ensure all training and development activity is captured across the organisation• Working with leadership where necessary to communicate strategic initiatives Internal Communications• Leading on the delivery of all employee related internal communications, seeking to use diverse and interesting mediumsEmployee Engagement• Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy / employee value proposition including career, talent and training development, leadership development and staff retention• Set, develop and maintain County Broadband’s culture, behaviours and the employer brand to attract and retain the right talent• Embedding the company culture and values in the implementation of all people related initiatives• Drive all people initiatives including engagement activities and internal events• Define and analyse the staff engagement survey, working with leadership to define and implement the resulting actions

Responsible for design and implementation of apprenticeship training programme, manage relationships and liaise with managers and apprentices through setting up agreed learning programmes, as well as managing the funding process.Deliver functional expertise on training and apprenticeships and build strong relationships with other business units as well as suppliers and external bodies.• Identify training and development needs within the company & gaps with our Build Partners• Design training programmes to meet the needs of the company• Manage, monitor and delivery of training and development programmes• Review existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance • Modify or creates course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs• Present in-person and online training sessions or facilitate external company training delivery• Ensure employees hold correct training and are competent in the tasks they will be performing.• find, design, implement & manage the Learning Management System & forward training programmes• Arrange training as and when needed through the direct management of your trainers and at times yourself• Work with external accreditation bodies in building County Broadband specific training & accreditation material.• Creation and management of County Broadbands accreditation & training school.• Work with Smart Awards in building & maintaining system links as part of our automated works allocation• Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments• Drive quality forwards across the business through the use of training mediums and County Broadband processes• Reporting on the performance of the training programmes and Build Partner skill sets. • Participation within Senior management meetings
