CurrentSupport the implementation and maintenance of the TAC Safety Management System (SMS) across all company areas.Assist in drafting SMS Risk Assessments, and Management of Change forms.Input and maintain SMS documentation into the database.Monitor implementation of policies and procedures through Safety Assurance Process.Aid in developing and delivering SMS training for personnel.Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, audits, and observations, collaborating with management on mitigation strategies.Lead Safety Investigations of significant mishaps. Perform Safety evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.Assist OL managers with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations.Ensure personnel compliance with regulations and inspect work areas for adherence to OSHA and EPA standards.Foster positive relations with managers, employees, and regulatory agencies.Interface with other departments on maintenance safety issues.Distribute maintenance safety articles, alerts, and briefs.Address reported issues through appropriate briefings and postings.Compile information for Maintenance Safety Briefing.Act as liaison for Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS), RCA.Develop proactive safety programs to reduce accidents and injuries.Serve as Safety Team Member during accidents.Manage Safety Management System (SMS) and associated outputs.Delegate tasks in absence of Director of Safety.Under Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program, ensure workplace safety, provide necessary safety equipment, training, and supervision, support OH&S committees, and comply with OH&S laws and regulations.Promote product safety, environmental responsibility, and employee health and safety.Manage ISP aspects of SMS including emergency preparedness, compliance, fire safety, and industrial hygiene.Direct corporate safety initiatives and review progress towards SMS goals.Coordinate SMS elements across all sites.Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
