Fenner Precision is a division of Fenner, Inc. They are a sister company to Fenner Drives. They have contacted TEKsystems to assist with open position. At Fenner Precision they have their own servers and switches; they also have their own internet connection. There are roughly 150+ end users between Manheim, PA; Buffalo, NY; Lincoln, UK and Shanghai, China.. Day to Day Duties: --Manage and administer server and network environments --Maintain VMWare environment --Participate in support of Lotus Notes environment --Handle Support Calls to troubleshoot, determine root cause and develop solutions for common problems --Order equipment as needed --Set standards for policies and procedures --Set up some new setups for employees (remotely) --Some configuration of ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX) with workstations.--Installation of scripts for SQL and help provide SQL Administration--Managing back-ups per logging onto a file server --Automate patches and maintain security levels for clients.--Gather requirements with end users to make sure that PC and work stations are set up correctly -- Some end-user support and help when issues are escalated.Individual is responsible for the procurement, installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance of company Information Technology hardware and software. Individual will work with our internal business clients, spanning four remote locations, analyzing complex problems; identifying root cause(s) and determining solutions for a variety of computer hardware and software related issues. Individual will be required to manage a variety of hardware and software implementation projects; proactively develop documentation and provide client training as necessary. Individual must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, while balancing priorities and ensuring that a high level of Customer Service is delivered to the business community. This position will require travel to our remote locations as needed.
