What an odd combination, I'm the computer geek with a passion for the backcountry. As of late I have discovered that I love white water rafting, and climbing Mt LeConte in the Smoky mountains was incredible. My job title says Internal Logistics Manager which, I guess makes sense part of the time. I've scheduled planned and implemented everything from a 50'​ cat5 cable run at a customers house, to a national roll out for USPS. But most of my career is spent working with customers who are not happy that their PC's, servers, TVs. phones, cameras or some other IT based solution which is no longer providing the solution for them. I've climbed through ceilings to run cables and cameras, drilled through brick walls to run cat5, and cut through ice to install a sensor. Most of the time I sit at a desk and provide end users with IT support over the phone or remote connection. The main thing I bring to this industry is that outdoorsman attitude that anyone who climbs a mountain has to have. The ability to think outside the box, keep my crew calm and happy and most of all keep putting one foot in front of the other and get it done.
