I am a scoping group member for EFG and attend all board meetings. At EFG I have advised and assisted the board to develop the project from the beginning, including work developing the business model and expansion strategy as well as researching and briefing on emerging natural capital markets and advising on policy development.

For our grain co-op, in partnership with several major players in the UK I have developed a methodology for assessing and presenting whole farm sustainability to buyers, which we are using to add value to co-op members produce. In this role I provided technical advice to biogas engine, biogas and biomass boiler, ORC, turbine, and GSHP projects for installations ranging from 100kWth up to 8MWth from initial discussions regarding energy requirements right through to completion including designing eligibility with and applying for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). I was also experienced in checking ongoing compliance issues for all types of RHI application, attending RHI, ROC, and CHPQA audits and dealing with Ofgem to resolve non-compliance issues. I have a firm knowledge of agriculture and farming practices in the UK and was therefore able to discuss industry issues in detail with farmers. Alongside my main role I also gained experience in energy efficiency auditing, carbon accounting and net zero for agriculture, project feasibility work, biomethane injection, and providing advisory services and consultancy to farmers and NFU members.
