Built monthly service department revenues from start up level of $3,000.00/month to a peak of over $36,000.00/month. Personally closed a sale of a $65,000.00 in house alphanumeric paging system for a local hospital, and oversaw all aspects of its successful implementation. I arranged licensing and tower space leasing, and then constructed a five channel trunked system for commercial leasing of airtime to dispatch customers.

I was assigned as an AN/SPG 55B radar technician aboard The USS Horne. Duties included operation, maintenance, troubleshooting , repair, parts ordering, training of new personnel, and occasional supervisory duties. I maintained radar combat readiness at 100% during our overseas deployment. I received an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, a Battle "E" ribbon and a Sea Service ribbon, as well as an honorable discharge with recommendation for advancement to E-6 and a highly desirable re-enlistment code.
