About Edward (Ted) Halinski
I commissioned into the Infantry from West Point in May 2008. My first assignment was to 1-187 IN, 3 BCT, 101 ABN DIV. There I held a variety of jobs to include Mortar Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Rifle Platoon Leader, and BN S4 (logisitics officer). I deployed with this unit in 2010 to Afghanistan. During that time, I served as the Headquarters and Headquarters Company Executive Officer.I completed my second assignment in April of 2014. That assignment carried me through MCCC and my command time with B/2-58 IN REGT. My third assignment was with the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (CS&CSS) at the Detroit Arsenal. I served as an Assistant Product Manager in both Product Directorates Light Tactical Vehicles and Army Watercraft Systems in PEO CS&CSS.While in Detroit, the Army selected me to attend a full-time graduate studies program, which took me to the University of Illinois. I graduated from UofI in May 2018 with a MBA. Following graduation, I took up the role of a Project Officer at the Soldier Systems Branch, Soldier Requirements Division, AFC. I next served at the DEVCOM Armaments Center as a Military Deputy with special focus on the Long Range Precision Fires Portfolio. I most recently served as a Project Officer for USSOCOM. Next, I’ll take the charter for PM Communications and Intelligence Support Systems for USSOCOM.
