After graduating college in 2019 I was eager to start my IT career and excited for the opportunities to come. After my first month with Wipro Technologies I got the opportunity to move from Texas to Ohio to take on a Performance Engineering project with little to no experience at the role. After a month I became a contributing member of the McGraw-Hill performance engineering team. I was grateful for the experience and proud that I took that opportunity. When the project ended I moved back to Texas and took a IT coordinator position where I have enjoyed managing over 500 dental practices and providing on demand IT support. This includes hardware requests, software support, and remote installation and troubleshooting of hardware including printers, scanners, modems, routers, and windows 10 workstations.In addition to my experience, I have a solid educational foundation and have learned to be flexible with the constant technology changes within my roles as an IT Coordinator/Consultant. I am continuously learning by recently obtaining top 2% rank on the TryHackMe website. My true passion is in Cyber Security and I have been building my foundation by successfully completing my Security+ certification, gaining knowledge in how to protect against attacks, threats, and vulnerabilities. I have completed TryHackMe - Jr Penetration Tester, SOC Analyst 1, Pre-Security, and Intro to Cyber Security learning paths in my free time to put the knowledge from the Security+ certification in practice and gain some experience with current security tools and best practices.I am confident from my experience that I can excel in any task given to me. If I am unfamiliar with the task I will do anything I can to learn about it and with support from my team complete the task up to company standards.
