I've had the privilege of working for a Non-Profit agency whom provides residential, dayhabilitation and employment services to adults with intellectual disabilities for the last 12 years. I obtained progressive positions over the years that allowed to me to gain a wealth of experience through out various departments. I started in Residential and worked my way up to administration. Over the last few years I was able to recreate the agency's employee manual and work with the HR department side-by-side to ensure all employee rights were protected and compliance with all state and city employment laws. I was also able to help develop the current disciplinary action system in place, and this all not only help me gain a lot of knowledge and experience first hand, but it also helped me achieve my Masters in Public Administrations Oversight and Inspection Program (IOP).
