I relocated to the West Country because I absolutely loved the coast around there, in andaround Bantham and the South Hams.Paddle boarding, walking and getting back to a more natural, organic way of life.Time to observe, think and … for the first time in my life, really see the world around me.I saw beautiful landscapes and seascapes being spoilt by debris, plastics and litter andbecame increasingly passionate about the environment and wondered what I could do aboutit.  Being an entrepreneur, I decided that If I really wanted to make an impact, it would be tohelp businesses, large and small reduce their carbon footprint.   I had a realisation.I had been doing this all along.I have had a long-term passion for improving the way remote teams work to make themmore efficient.  Initially helping them communicate with their offices back in the 80s; In the 90s tracking vehicles so logistics could be improved; More recently capturing remote data allowing businesses to streamline workflow.Business benefits aside, the environmental impact is enormous;- They make more efficient use of their time - They use less paper- Spend less on fuel- Deliver on the promise of carbon zeroSo, I’m now back in the game with a brand new strategy.  As well as showing businesses how they will save money and their workers’ time; I alsoshow them how they can save the environment with a really minor change to the way theywork.We are producing a monthly Environomics Report for all of our customers, not justshowing them how much money and time they have saved but also the contribution theyhave made to saving the planet.We call ourselves Bantham Technologies, the namesake of the beach that inspired me.
