About Ed Francis

I am an executive leader in the not-for-profit sector with over 17 years' experience at senior levels overseeing impact driven programming in Africa, Asia, MENA and the UK. I am a flexible and strategic leader driving performance across cross-cutting business critical areas including strategy, programmes, HR, new business development and quality assurance. I am currently working with BRAC as Deputy Regional Director, Africa with oversight of Programmes, Strategy and Operations for the region. Prior to my current role, I was Global Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships Director for BRAC with oversight of fundraising and programme development, and New Business Director for BRAC UK. I have worked with teams in over 20 countries across 4 continents, and prior to my roles at BRAC was the International Programmes Director for Restless Development with oversight of strategy, programmes, quality and impact.
