Global Medtech Reimbursement Consultant
CurrentI’m excited to be back in the medtech industry working with some of the finest and most dedicated entrepreneurs in the world. I have lectured in 11 different countries on the challenges of US market access in my career. It has connected me to outstanding consulting organizations whom I am now privileged to represent. My associates have expertise in Regulatory Affairs as well as Reimbursement/Market Access in order to better align these functions for greater success and speed to market; one is worthless without the other. The ability of these two disciplines to work together to advise Clinical Trial Planning is fundamental to companies requiring efficiency and preservation of investment capital. Regulatory experts tend to be very disciplined and procedural in their practice. Reimbursement consulting tends to be more relationship-based requiring experience with government payers, private insurers and medical societies who can either help accelerate or completely derail a project. It is a reality we stress with our clients and especially with science-based engineers. It is the Black Box (a business name I almost used) decision-making process that can make Reimbursement work frustrating to many. The medtech industry is a fabulous business with which to associated and we continue to see great opportunities world-wide.
