As someone who has dedicated their career to education, I understand the importance of personal development and its impact on not just the individual, but also the community as a whole. I believe that by continuously striving to improve oneself, one can better serve those around them, and this is especially true in the field of education. As a leader in the field, I have dedicated my career to creating positive change in education through effective schooling, drawing on my extensive experience in the field, which spans nearly 28 years.As the Executive Director of Expansion and Construction at Harmony Public Schools, I am responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the school system, ensuring that all students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. I work closely with our school board, administrators, teachers, and staff to develop and implement strategies for expanding our schools and improving the learning environment for our students. This includes overseeing the construction of new school buildings, as well as renovating existing ones, to ensure that our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities that are safe, comfortable, and conducive to learning.Throughout my career, I have held a diverse range of roles within Harmony Public Schools, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Operating Officer, principal, assistant principal, and Math teacher. These positions have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in leadership and administration, which I have been able to apply in my current role. I have been able to use my experience as a teacher to understand the day-to-day challenges that educators face, and my experience as a school administrator to understand the broader issues that affect our schools and our students. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in education and am constantly looking for ways to improve the learning experience for students. I am also committed to strengthening our relationships with our community partners and stakeholders. I believe that by working together with our community partners, we can better serve our students and create a brighter future for our community. This includes partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide our students with internships and job shadowing opportunities, as well as working with community organizations to provide our students with additional resources and support.
