In my current position I have responsibilities for infrastructure architecture design, implementation of new technologies enhancing First Niagara's digital footprint, Technical Architect for Disaster Recovery Architecture. I am also leading a cross organizational team to establish and implement utilization of Amazon and Azure Public Cloud Infrastructures. Member of First Niagara Technology Architecture Review Board and Application Design Steering Committee whose responsibility is to ensure new systems designs are consistent with current and future architectures at First Niagara.

In my current position I have responsibilities for infrastructure assessment, design and implementation of new systems and technologies and Disaster Recovery Architecture for use within the organization. Additionally I play a major role in a major migration project underway encompassing all the technologies in play at First Niagara from the Server to the Mainframe.

Technical Architect for a major Corporate Data Center Migration project (AMEX). Projected expected to conclude 4Q11 so I will be open to other engagements.

In my most recent role at HSBC I was responsible to oversee the corporate data center infrastructure. Provided strategic direction, guidance, oversight and collaborated on projects to implement new data centers or resolve issues at existing sites. • Developed and implemented Global Data Center Reporting Dashboard for 20 of the Bank’s largest data centers incorporating views into utilization, capacity planning and forecasting. • Standardized and implemented a global standard to baseline data center maintenance protocols designed to ensure that maintenance was being consistently performed on the largest data centers.• Collaborated with a global team to write and implement Global Information Technology Data Center Standards to ensure that implementations within the data centers were consistent around the world with respect to configurations, data center equipment utilization, installations and configurations.

During the last 5 years at HSBC I have consulted with our various Global IT organizations on the locations, design and layout of our new Data Centres and the review of our existing Data Centres in terms of opportunities to reduce operating costs. Have worked extensively on defining our Internal Standards and Strategies for deployment. I have worked with on several significant data centre migration projects and fully understand the processes required to plan and execute these migration activities. These activities include working with staff in the US, UK, HK, MX and India. Sharing of lessons learned and building on the experiences from each migration made the next one more successful.Implementation of Aperture Vista has been a significant win for our organization and I coordinated a Global implementation of Vista for the company. Our companies use of Aperture has proven to be very valuable in assisting with our various migrations.

Responsible for the Design, Configuration and Operations of our companies new Global Internet Platform. Brought together Senior Consultants from the major vendors (Sun, IBM, CISCO) in producing a sustainable design and operating platform and then implementing a platform which is currently ranked number number 2 in the world for usability.

Marine Midland Bank was acquired by HSBC in the 1980's.

Position was both pre-sales in assisting potential clients to gain a good understanding of the system and then post sales. working with the client, gathering their user requirements and take them through installation and training.
