• Managing reconciliation team• Formulate, update and implement industry standard reconciliation processes and procedures• Critically evaluate current financial and reconciliation systems for areas of improvement • Investigate, develop and implement improvements within the internal and external reconciliation processes• Internal stakeholder reconciliations - Assess and report on balance sheet non-current asset accounts- Reporting and analysis of General Ledger and internal management accounts- Review overall General Ledger accounts for executive management team- Using reconciliation data and figures to analyse and manage company cash flow requirements• External stakeholder reconciliations:- Manage team who look after the national branch reconciliation processes of a major bank- Review overall reconciliation quality and accuracy at branch level for external stakeholders- Build daily, and monthly, management reports consolidating reconciliation data• Staff Training and Development- Continually train and encourage reconciliation best practice and procedures- Identify and nominate top performers for company subsidised training by conducting bi-annual performance reviews• Managing customer payments team of 3 staff members- Ensuring payment processes comply with payment industry standards- Liquidity planning and forecasting- Design and implementation of bespoke customer payment solutions- Creating reports for executive management
