After a period of rapid expansion, I rationalised the infrastructure footprint to simplify and reduce costs. I then worked on the design and migration path from On-Premise to Cloud for our eighty sites. I rewrote the DR Policy and replaced the legacy backup system with Cove from N-ABLE. This is part of a Cloud First strategy where key systems are reviewed for Cloud suitability. I implermented security improvements, working within the CIS framework. Firstly, identifying the change needed and then leading the team through the technical implementation and transition to live. I also worked with the Digital Transformation and Innovation teams to make sure their projects were secure and successful. These agile teams were running services in Azure and AWS for Business Intelligence and Data Analysis.

3rd line systems engineer role to lead on the deployment of new infrastructure across eighty sites. The upgrade of each site involves the management of multiple vendors and staff priorities. All the new technologies need to go live at the same time with minimal downtime to the business.
