Mentoring 26 young adults during a social development programme. Creating a safe space for the pastoral care of the participants; quickly building rapport with the group and being an inspiring role model to encourage confidence, progression and development of individuals across weeks of varied activities including adrenaline sports, independent living, social action and public speaking. Delivering guided coaching sessions to ensure each participant is consistently reflecting upon personal progress and well-being. Confidently managing challenging behaviour, developing team dynamics and facilitating the formation and maintenance of team cohesion. Enthusiastically engaging facilitation and delivery of a varied curriculum whilst supporting participants to devise and run a community project based on a local issue they feel passionate about.

Presenting to hundreds of people at career fairs, organisations and universities across England. Passionately, effectively and eloquently delivering large amounts of information and navigating Q&A sessions. Ensuring accessibility in the ways I presented information and proactively promoting outreach to underrepresented and marginalised groups.

Teaching teenagers manual photography skills to foster confidence, creativity and self-expression. Developing photography exercises to hone participants' skills and leading day trips to practice their new talents. Encouraging and facilitating interaction with members of the community in creative ways including fashion shows in care homes, promotional photography for community gardens and activism through art.
