As a bilingual Latino student journalist and producer at New York University, I am a team player that leads people to success. I am learning from broadcast industry professionals as a news intern at NBC News Now’s Top Story with Tom Llamas and previously at NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and WKMG-TV CBS News 6 Orlando. I also have experience as an editor, writer, reporter, anchor, producer and director for publications and broadcast programs like Washington Square News at NYU and F.B.N. News in high school. I have been awarded a Student Production Award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Suncoast Emmy's Chapter for a weekly recorded news broadcast called Falcon Vision. Organizations like the Emma Bowen Foundation, Hearst Journalism Awards Program, The James Alan Cox Foundation for Student Photojournalists, and the Society of Professional Journalists have honored me with scholarships for my student work. For several years, I constantly worked with school administrators and Miami-Dade County Public Schools officials which helped me intern with the Dadeschools Office of Communications for a year. I am industry certified with the Microsoft Office Suite and with Adobe Premiere Pro CC for video editing software as well as Microsoft OS, Networking and Security Fundamentals for Windows 7/10.
