I am the Director of International Trade Services at Crowell & Moring. I lead the firm's international trade analysts providing practice support to the International Trade Group in the areas of customs regulations, trade remedies, trade policy, export control, economic sanctions, and antiboycott. I joined Crowell after 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force as a career Space and Missile Professional. My final Air Force assignment was at the Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), where I worked as a Space Technology Export Control Officer providing information and interpretive guidance on the ITAR concerning the export of defense articles, defense services, and related technical data. Prior to working at DTSA, I served in a variety of operational assignments, including on-orbit satellite operations, before being selected for duty as the deputy commander of the National Reconnaissance Office's Launch Communications Operations Squadron. I also worked as a program manager in the Military Satellite Communications Program Office at the Air Force's Space and Missile Systems Center.
