Current position duties:Duties include maintaining the network and all systems, this includes two environments, the main school building which contains a vmware server setup, windows server 2003 domain controllers, 400~ XP workstations and 80 XP laptops.Secondary environment of the Sixth form building contains a hyperv server setup of Windows Server 2008 and 275~ Windows 7 workstations.Other duties include daily server maintenance of both environments which include Windows Exchange Servers, SIMS Server, Win 2003 Server set up with Symantec Backup Exec/LT04 Tape loader, management of AD and DHCP, management and maintenance of splicecom IP Phones, installation and maintaining all school network printers (HP and brother), support of many different devices which include Projectors, Interactive Whiteboards, Wireless Access Points, Iphones, Canon/Xerox Multifunctional Photocopiers and asset management and other network documentation (procedures, daily control checks, equipment ordering etc)
