I managed a FedRAMP-authorized deployment of our platform, too, which came with additional security and compliance requirements as well as some technical limitation. I ensured its features kept up with our commercial offering.Core PaaS handles both legacy (Spinnaker deployed) services and development. Adoption from teams with legacy services went from 25% to 80%, much of it driven by the improvements in testing /deployment turnaround time.I proposed and launched an internal newsletter for my team. Soon after joining, I had noticed that we (the platform team) didn't have a clear communication channel to the other service teams. Confusion and miscommunication, yada yada yada... But within a year, service teams had come to take our monthly newsletter for granted, which was the goal.

It made a significant improvement in developer productivity. I got us to "push button" releases, a stable versioning scheme, dedicated storage for internal builds that streamlined internal integration testing, blocking pull requests on test failures, nightly integration tests, etc. I saw my teammates as the customers of our continuous delivery product, and relished their feedback and the opportunity to help them work better.

Next generation cybersecurity startup focused on detecting and blocking malicious network activity at the endpoint.I joined this startup when the team was just a small handful of engineers. I started as the primary engineer for the Windows agent and built out most of its core functionality. Brought on for the camp’s first year, so energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility required to ensure the camp's success. Camp was located in a functioning public museum, so I worked around a variety of space constraints to develop a rewarding camp experience. With the new space came many new camp classes, so those curricula were also untested. I worked with instructors to adapted and change activities on a weekly basis to tailor to new group of campers. An Android app designed to aid grocery shoppers. It stores information on how to tell if produce is fresh, when it is in season, and how to properly store it. A groundbreaking collaboration between USF’s computer science and art departments with a focus on civic engagement.

An iPad app that projects a variety of national and religious calendars onto the standard Gregorian calendar, drawn as a ring of days. The solar holidays move back and forth as the years progress, and the lunar holidays slowly drift in relation to the solar calendar.

I led prospective and admitted students on campus-wide tours, conveying the intellectual mission and culture of the university.

I set up and maintained a web presence (Twitter, Facebook, blog), performed general office duties, and represented the Institute at open houses through talks and one on one conversations.

I was able to put my passion for improvisation to direct use. I worked with a team of producers to ensure the nightly shows were ready. This involved treasure hunts, manual labor, and in-depth research on audience members. I also was in charge of researching the college comedy touring market to allow the Second City to better connect with and gain fans. I learned the day to day required to both run a top comedy theater and produce good comedy.

Super fun, a great environment to learn retail. As a cast member, I imbued delight and magic in every guest interaction.

I was responsible for passenger safety for for the duration of the cruise, including ensuring the ship safely casted onto and off from the dock, emergency procedure, etc. Sometimes during tours, rusty chunks of metal would fall off the underside of the many trunnion bascule bridges that cross the Chicago River, and we would do our best to discreetly sweep those away. The First Lady is the only cruise line that carries the Chicago Architecture Foundation River Tour, which I highly recommend. I learned so much from listening to the docents I started giving informal "Batman/Dark Knight" tours of Chicago.
