I worked partially as a network engineer and as a help desk technician, designing and installing networks for major public schools in the New Orleans area.My projects ranged from small scale churches to major public schools that support 1500+ students. It was interesting to learn more about the actual hardware used in networking and problem solving what to use given different constraints from job to job.

Intern for summer 2017 working on paper manufacturing efficiency with the process engineering team.

Worked under a mentor, CEO of the startup company, learning about the importance of business continuity during disasters for data reliant businesses. During the course of my experience with nSpire, I researched extensively on disaster recovery planning and the development of business continuity planning. Using this research I constructed my own list of disaster recovery/resiliency methods partnered with results from data loss simulations and nSpire's client statistics. It was a mostly analytical project even though I'm more accustomed to hands on work and design but still very fulfilling.

Working with graduate chemistry students on improving thin-film solar cell efficiency. Research included working with PbS Quantum Dots and Titanium Dioxide based solar cells. Constructed devices to test the efficiency of the different cells.
