    Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is a $31M 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing services (training, education, support) to enable economic self-sufficiency.Recruited into this Vice President role in 2013, the scope now includes:23 County Region | 5 Lines of Business | 9 Direct/225 Matrixed Staff | $8.9M Revenue▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I was initially challenged to reverse decline for an unprofitable division – I rapidly put policies and structure in place that took us from a net loss to multi-million-dollar net proceed mission support. While this is a multi-disciplinary role – with bottom-line accountability for public/private sector janitorial, grounds keeping, warehousing, switchboard, and mailroom operations – I also put a strong focus on team building, developing future leaders, and enabling growth through strategy and innovation. A few recent successes include:► Spiking revenue 107% in just 4 years while reducing expense to revenue 20%. ► Capturing the largest divisional contract to date – the 1st to pay above living wage to custodial employees. ► Increasing profit (net proceeds) 550% with $1.2M going directly to Goodwill Missions in 2016. ► Developing a charter school initiative that generated $2M new revenue and 60+ jobs. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I enjoy talking about my challenges and successes in this position.
