Edward Kim is a Principal at SER Capital Partners where he is responsible for investment origination, execution, and portfolio management. He sits on the Board of Directors of Perfect Power, MicroGrid Networks, and C2Zero. Ed has 14 years of experience in energy, clean tech, and renewables. Prior to joining SER, Ed was Vice President of Corporate & Business Development at Bloom Energy, a publicly traded hydrogen and fuel cell company (NYSE: BE). He drove over $6 billion of strategic transactions at BE including equity investments, project financing, and long-term revenue contracts. Previously, Ed was at J.P. Morgan where he specialized in M&A and tax equity in the Power & Renewables group, primarily focused on wind, solar, and natural gas transactions. Ed began his career in the energy industry at Charles River Associates, advising clients in the power and natural gas industries. Ed received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Economics from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
