Ed Liu is Vice Chairman of Bank of America’s Technology Investment Banking Group and serves as the Global Head of Software. Ed joined Bank of America in 2024 after previously founding and operating Drumlin Partners, a strategic advisory and investment firm focused on the software industry. Prior to Drumlin, Ed was the Chief Financial Officer of Zocdoc, overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations. Ed has over 20 years of investment banking experience at Morgan Stanley, most recently serving as Co-Head of Americas Technology Investment Banking. There, he advised CEOs, CFOs, and boards on over 150 transactions across IPOs, M&A, equity, debt, and private capital raises. He was a member of the investment committee of Morgan Stanley's Multicultural Innovation Lab, an in-house startup accelerator.Earlier in his career, Ed worked at McKinsey & Company, providing strategic and operational advice to Fortune 500 companies, and at Apax Partners, where he made growth equity investments in private technology companies.
