Connecting with others, expanding my worldview, and pursuing knowledge have always been reoccurring themes in my life for as long as I can remember. From my upbringing where my incredible, first-generation parents balanced a traditional and progressive approach, to every coach, mentor, teacher, peer, and friend that has impacted my life and helped shape me into the person I am today, I strive to be a better version of myself than I was the day before.I have always loved working in environments where I could establish effective rapport and deep relationships with both my clients and coworkers which led me to join the workforce in the service industry. I will always look fondly on the years I spent in fine dining and the wine industry where I built and honed my interpersonal skills and empathy, but my desire to explore the vastness of the world has pulled me into my current field of study: International Business. During my present-day, impactful experience at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, I had a beautiful revelation during my first semester of enrollment: International Business is more than conducting a company on a global scale, but is rather the culmination of exploring, understanding, and appreciating the incredible, diverse aspects of cultures around the world. This epiphany has led to an intense desire to acquire even more knowledge about international business and I seek to absorb all facets of the concept so I can implement all that I have learned in my future professional career. I look forward to excelling in a role where I can provide value to a global brand through my passion for marketing while also propelling the world towards a more sustainable future.
