About Ed Ward

I lead the Client Product Group at Dell Technologies. We are responsible for the technology strategy, product management, engineering, program management, business operations and overall business performance of the global PC portfolio to all customers. In addition, we are responsible for the experience design, regulatory compliance, content engineering & translations, and global offer & product data across all Dell Technologies products. Our team consists of talented technology professionals that define, architect, design, develop and deliver PCs, Workstations, Rugged PCs, Platform Software and Application Software. By focusing on bringing the right people and resources together to understand our customer's challenges, we are able to design products, experiences and solutions that they love and enjoy. First and foremost, I’m a business leader who grew up in engineering. Throughout my career I've had a natural curiosity for how and why things work the way they do. I’m also passionate about developing people and teams to be their best. I have a particular passion for encouraging young people in under-represented communities to get excited about and involved in STEM education. One of the ways I have done this is through a number of leadership roles in the local chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and by being the executive sponsor at Dell Technologies for NSBE. This has allowed me to contribute to the development of a diverse workplace and to give back to the community by encouraging the next generation of engineers.
