As an Associate on Booz Allen’s Advanced Analytics team, I am the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) market lead and responsible for leading tasks and developing the team’s presence in that market. I have several areas of expertise, to include systems analysis and design, data visualization, DoDAF architecture development, CONOPS development, and architecture visualization.

Project Manager, Logos Technologies: Mr. MacDonald managed the IT support contract for Logos Technologies. This entailed management of a team engineers to implement and maintain the Logos Active Directory domain; oversight, development and implementation of the Logos web site, SharePoint portal, hosted exchange and POP mail servers and network design and integration including implementation of a secured network capable of transmission of classified materials. Project Manager, DARPA Urban Challenge: Mr. MacDonald managed the SNAP/Geollect development, implementation and support for the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. This includes management of software requirements and development, on-site software support, training and operations support during the challenge event. Project Manager, CDHS: Mr. MacDonald managed a small project involving a BlackBerry Enterprise integration performed by SRA’s Wireless Integration Services for the Colorado Dept. of Human Services.

Technical Lead, DARPA-TTO: Mr. MacDonald managed the web development efforts ongoing within the Tactical Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. These efforts included the development of multiple applications that developed in VB, ASP, ASP.Net and FoxPro and are designed to replace intra-office processes as well as the implementation of third-party applications such as Microsoft SharePoint to address new office requirements

Development Team Lead, Housing Operations Management System (HOMES) Project: Mr. MacDonald managed a team of web developers working on a number of web sites. He maintained several legacy websites while developing new web applications for Army Housing. In addition, his responsibilities included gathering and refining customer requirements and managing the workload across his team. Application Developer, Housing Operations Management System (HOMES) Project: Responsibilities included developing and implementing a new Cognos EIS application for Army Housing while maintaining the current HOMES application using VB, SQL Server and Crystal Reports. This included interaction with clients to develop and document detailed requirements based on Use Case modeling and methodology. Responsibilities also included administrating the HOMES Help Desk web site as well as the HEAT database. He also designed and developed web interfaces for the prototype of the new HOMES version release.
