I lead the day to day work of Sprink’s Global Centre for Healthy Food Environments. The Global Centre supports health care systems to improve the quality of their food environments for patients, staff and visitors to address the triple challenge of alarming levels of obesity and chronic disease, poor staff wellbeing and a climate emergency. Clinical Fellow to Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS England Medical Director, working on the design and implementation of national health policy in Domain 1: Reducing Premature Mortality.Key achievements as follows:1) Led day-to-day development of a £12 million programme to improve early diagnosis of cancer.2) Developed a new NHS tariff for lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, implemented nationally in April 2017.3) Co-authored national emergency preparedness guidance to minimise risks to patient safety during NHS industrial action.

Bridges Ventures is a specialist fund manager dedicated to sustainable and impact investment. I provided clinical care for patients at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and in the community. I completed rotations in Acute Medicine, Emergency Surgery, Accident and Emergency, Psychiatry and General Practice.I also undertook research and teaching at Oxford University.
