I am an IT geek with extensive real world experience in system architecture, application design, internet services, devops practices, development, and cloud technologies. My forte is problem solving and the harder the problem the more exciting it becomes. If you combine that with the fact that I HATE doing meaningless and repetitive work what you get is a healthy viewpoint that everything that can be automated should be automated and a tenacity to ensure that it happens. Over the years of my career thus far I've run teams (big and small), architected and built a number of products, been through countless audits, and optimized and automated systems both large and small. This has left me with experience in business, sales, compliance, development, security and technology. This allows me to dig in deep on technical issues or step back and look at the bigger picture and see how all the pieces connect. On the compliance side I've been directly involved in audits and incorporating SSAE16 (SOC)(Type 1 & 2), PCI, HIPAA, and ISO 20000.
