I am very fortunate to have spent my entire 40 year career and retired from Grant Thornton, being a partner since 1986 and having served as Global CEO, US CEO and numerous other roles including Chair of the Global Board, US head of audit, and managing partner of the Philadelphia office. I was lucky to have been surrounded by excellent management teams and wonderful partners and staff. I am now living in Evergreen Colorado (outside of Denver) and looking for other opportunities while I have been spending time with family and friends. I am currently serving as an Advisor to Embark, a financial advisory firm (embarkwithus.com).In 2017, I won the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Accounting Bulletin and I was humbled by the recognition which really goes to the great people I have worked with at my former firm and throughout the profession over the years. While CEO at Grant Thornton International, we grew from $3.6 Billion to over $5 Billion in revenue, from 30,000 to 50,000 people and from approximately 100 countries to over 140. While US CEO, Grant Thornton US grew from $350 million to $1.1 Billion in revenue and today is over $1.8 Billion with a great culture and reputation. For example, Grant Thornton US has been named as the top 100 companies by Working Mother for 13 consecutive years, including this year! I am incredibly proud of what the teams have achieved while I was there and know that there are even greater things to come. I welcome any opportunities that may come my way, and I am truly enjoying getting to enjoy life in a different way.
