Edward Ptacek is an Executive Vice President ("EVP") of BCREM Capital Inc (“BCREM”). The firm is a leading national commercial real estate capital advisory firm. Mr. Ptacek specializes in nationwide ground up construction, permanent and bridge financing. He has arranged debt, preferred equity and joint venture equity structures, totaling billions during his career. His expertise includes underwriting and structuring commercial real estate investments, negotiating transactions and term sheets, financial modeling, market research, and evaluating business plans through the various stages of an investment cycle. Mr. Ptacek is well qualified to provide expert opinions on real estate financing, feasibility, standards and practices and transaction matters. Mr. Ptacek was CFO for 1,420,000 sf retail portfolio, and installed Yardi system. In this position he constantly was involved in litigation. He has provided expert witness testimony in several dozen real estate litigation matters and has testified in Federal and State court numerous times. Mr. Ptacek is also a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, MAI Candidate and has Appraisal Institute certificates in expert witness and litigation support. This specific area of expertise, has been invaluable to his clients and capital sources. Mr. Ptacek received his BA in Economics from Stanford University while lettering in football and rugby. He also received an MBA from the University of Southern California, as well as a Certificate in Appraisal from UCLA. Navy duty included Special Ops in Viet Nam, Managed all Navy military shipping to Thailand and elsewhere, and Admirals Staff in Norfolk, VA. Beginning valuation of microgrids in commercial and industrial properties.
