I have over 30 years total experience working with computers with 15+ years actively troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other peripherals. I am familiar with Unix, Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu), Windows 3.11/95/98/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 as well as MS Server 2003/2008/2012. I am also familiar with Mac OS.My professional goal is to eventually assume a position in which I can help allocate and implement new technologies and methodologies when available and where applicable to help lower costs and make the support process as streamlined as possible.Specialties: Hardware troubleshooting & repair, computer upgrades and new builds, software installation, testing, and management. Microsoft server management and virtual machine management in a Hyper-V environment. I also have a great deal of experience in working with various networking hardware and software (Cisco, Dell). I have some experience working in a virtual VMWare environment creating and configuring virtual desktop clients and then deploying them to VDI stations. I also have experience managing an Active Directory network in a Windows Server environment. I am also very familiar with installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Remote Desktop Services in a Windows Server 2008 R2 & 2012 R2 environment.
