https://www.simpsongrierson.com/people/edward-normanI am an experienced commercial and projects lawyer, specialising in projects in the infrastructure, transport and energy sectors.I work with a wide range of market participants (including public bodies, banks, institutional investors, sponsors, developers, corporates and investment funds) on the structuring, and the commercial, funding and financing elements of projects and project finance transactions.Alongside my project experience, I advise public sector and private sector clients on complex commercial contracting and procurement matters, joint ventures, and general corporate and shareholder matters, with a particular focus on transactions in the transport and defence sectors. Prior to joining Simpson Grierson, I spent almost eight years at Clifford Chance in London, where I worked as a member of the market-leading Worldwide Projects Group and Clifford Chance Asset Finance Group.I am able to draw on my experience advising on the commercial, equity and senior debt elements of major projects to provide creative and pragmatic solutions to issues that arise on transactions, which take account of the commercial drivers of each party.
