Empathy is not the usual description when looking for a creative producer. But empathy is what informs and directs all of my filmmaking efforts. Years ago, while working on a big project in NYC, a well-known advertising creative gave me this compliment, “Ed, you create from the heart”. To tell you the truth I didn’t know what to make of it then, but today it is the core value behind everything I work on. From the heart. Heart for the story, heart for the team members, heart for the audience, gives birth to the perfect creative result. With this value “from the heart” I have applied my filmmaking and storytelling skills to a variety of projects. I have produced and directed hundreds of videos and conducted countless interviews. From commercials, documentaries, narratives, organizational videos, social media content and product promos, it’s been a great ride in which I continue to enjoy serving the voices, visions and goals of those I am privileged to work with.Today, with nearly 30 years experience, I can safely say that I've mastered the craft of storytelling through film, video, and digital images. This depth of knowledge is central to creating video content that surpasses the goals of my clients. And as a business owner I understand first-hand the urgency of my clients to succeed in their endeavors. I bring that urgency front and center to the work I do for them.
