Daryl served working as a Senior Director/Vice President for The Prevention Partnership, Inc. ( a non-profit in Chicago, Illinois), and also served as its Director of Information Technology which has given him 27 years of relevant experience. He has an excellent track record of Program Development, Implementation, Public Speaking, Grant writing and Funds Development, and Information Systems for Non-Profit educational organizations.He also served as a convener along with Congressman Danny K. Davis, 7th District IL, and Chief of Staff now Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin, to MC the 1st Congressional Black Caucus, hosting the 1st HIV/AIDS National Conference on HIV/AIDS for the Minority AIDS Initiative for SAMHSA - (United States Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in Washington DC).Daryl also hosted and was convener of 7 Faith-Based Conferences on HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse from 2001 – 2010 under Federal SAMHSA contracts from the Chicago Department of Public health and the McFarland & Associates Group in Silver Springs, Maryland. Daryl's Father-in Law was a Bishop for the Apostolic Church on Chicago's West-side and as such, upholds all denominations and religious faiths, Christian and others, with all due equal respect.Having over 20 years of experience with computers and currently a student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Phoenix, Daryl is also well known and respected throughout the community for his work in Non-Profit Computer and Information Technology Systems. In 1996 he founded Advanced Systems Development, a computer consulting company that provides software development, hardware technical assistance, graphic design and video production services for social service agencies, political organizations and for-profit businesses in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
