Executive Officer responsible for Resources & Programmes within Royal Air Force Strategy, Policy & Plans organization.

A senior member of the management board for RAF Lyneham employing 3200 personnel, with delegated financial responsibilities and direct responsibility for all air operations at Lyneham, including resource and aircraft allocation, support to overseas operations, provision and oversight of air traffic control, operational planning, contingency planning, air safety, standards & evaluation, crash fire & rescue services, meteorological services, and tactical deployment support. The appointment was a major leadership appointment with responsibilities for personnel development, discipline, mentoring and management as well as being responsible for all aspects of regulatory compliance.

Responsible for pan-Governmental campaign planning working alongside the FCO, DFID and other government departments to affect change and promote stability in West Africa and elsewhere.
