Edward Simpson also known as Edward Simpson throughout the industry, is the Chief Executive Officer and President of EKIC. He is responsible for day-to-day management decisions and strategies, setting and implementing the company’s long-term vision.Edward was first known throughout the fight industry as a proponent for the sport of real bare knuckle fighting. He had spent many years cultivating the right relationships to garner the necessary support and assistance, in order to recreate the authenticity of true Bare-knuckle Boxing from the times of John L. Sullivan and re-introduce it in the modern era, as a legitimate, legal, variant form of the sport of boxing. Edward’s passion for the sport stems from his own participation, earning him a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo and Professional Bare Knuckle Fighter at 18-0. His other sports interest was baseball; having participated in the Philadelphia Phillies training camp. Edward has a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Penn State University.Edward’s mission in founding EKIC is grounded in his desire to create and build a successful professional fight organization that is predicated on high standards and prides itself on trust, integrity, honesty, transparency and loyalty. To implement his goal, Edward has hand picked a group of unique professionals with exemplary character, and years of experience in the areas of fight sports, fight sports management, entertainment, social media and sports law to form the expanded, multiple discipline, fight sports organization EKIC, EXTREME KUMITE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, (Bare Knuckle Boxing, Traditional Boxing with gloves, and Freestyle Mixed Martial Arts). EKIC is a professional fight sports organization that is based upon the belief that talented prizefighters and martial artists deserve the opportunity to compete on an elite level, and gain the notoriety, respect and compensation commensurate with their abilities.
