Infomedia is a leading provider in the automotive after sales SaaS and DaaS solutions with customers across 180+ countries and holds 1B+ vehicle data. As head of engineering, I lead a 100+ people engineering team that delivers YoY ARR growth. My team is responsible for the development of 3 main product lines across automotive parts, services and APIs and data. I am also responsible for cyber security operations and DevOps, safe guarding these customers data that are entrusted to us.

Edward led the engineering team across cloud, integration/micro-services, digital workspace and corporate systems at icare. He recruited half of the management team, and led the 60+ person engineering team to uplift icare's software development practices, implemented cost optimisation in AWS cloud, introduced end to end automation for CICD, matured icare's disaster recovery practice, and improved overall monitoring of icare's platform to uplift resiliency.

Edward led the technical team towards the final phase of the 3 year transformation that built icare's technology foundation. The last phase saw the technology team rolled out the claim platform for icare. It integrated with a machine learning engine for claim triage and had a digital portal for online claim management.

Edward led the architecture as well as the business partner engagement team as the head of architecture and engagement. During that time, he recruited half the architecture team made up of 25 enterprise architects and solution architects, and oversaw all architecture and design at icare.At the same time, he led the integration practice and was accountable for all integration technology delivery and operations at icare. The integration team at its peak had 50+ engineers and delivered over 50+ APIs built on top of MuleSoft and AWS Serverless technology.

Edward started at icare as the enterprise architect governing the digital domain and subsequently took over responsibility to oversee icare's overall technology landscape

Portfolio architect for the CommInsure business unit within CBA. Edward was responsible for all architecture decisions and solution design for the life insurance business unit.He architected the solution across CFS and CommInsure platforms to allow insurance product to be sold via superannuation. He’s also the responsible architect for all CommInsure Superstream integration design

Lead architect for BTFG’s $600 million dollars, 5 years transformation program (BT Panorama). The Panorama platform was a key technology strategy that drove the consolidation of 7 legacy platforms and replaced with a modern architecture with focus on overall user experience. Edward oversaw the architecture development and roadmap, and ensured its alignment to BTFG’s business strategy and program objectives. He architected the platform that requires integration of over 300 systems.

Edward has held multiple roles at Macquarie Bank. Most notably, he led one of the core teams to build the overall platform framework and the core trading engine of Macquarie Edge, a new online trading platform for Macquarie that was built in 12 months.He is an expert in designing and building highly scalable, low latency applications and has advanced knowledge in equity market, wrap and superannuation platform, and financial advice.

Development and maintenance of the Billback time tracking/expense management software designed for the professional services organisations (law firms and accounting firms).

Implementation of the loyalty program platform. The platform integrates with both the Point-of-sales and the Eftpos terminals to analyse customer purchase patterns and to suggest customised rewards for individual customer
