The Arts Firm Inc. (TAF) was launched in April 2018 as an online agency to create a flexible network of experts for the not-for-profit arts sector and the for-profit creative industries. The largest employer of musicians in Newfoundland and Labrador with a 66-member semi-professional orchestra consisting of a small core of contract musicians, fee-per-service players, university music students, and other community players. Between the full orchestra, the 16-member NSO Sinfonia, and the Atlantic String Quartet, the NSO presents an average of two dozen performances annually.Reporting to the Board Chair, responsible for managing all human and financial resources to achieve the orchestra's mission. Accountable for all Board policy implementation, including external relations and development. In collaboration with the Music Director, consistently and significantly improved the musical product, including the quality and stature of guest artists. Ensured financial stability/sustainability and poised the organization as a cornerstone cultural and educational institution in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Conceived as a joint project of the Canada Council Touring Office and CBC Radio with three main areas of focus: providing performing opportunities across Atlantic Canada for emerging Canadian classical musicians; facilitating concert production by community presenters; and offering education programs in schools throughout the region. Each season consists of 5 tours totalling 30-40 concerts and 10-15 outreach programs. Debut Atlantic substantially subsidizes most of the costs associated with each tour.Reporting to the Board of Directors, responsible for general administration, as well as the planning and execution of all programming. Developed and fostered productive relationships with funders and stakeholders on all levels, including governments, foundations, corporate sponsors, and individuals. Assigned to ensure relevant and highly respected, quality performances and support to presenters and educators throughout the Atlantic region.
