I have been working in the language training sector since 2002, including design and delivery of programmes, teacher training and development, digital content and commercial activity. The most important thing I have learned about my sector is that acquiring a language is all about having a good reason to do so. As teaching professionals the most fundamental aspect of our jobs is finding that spark: the fun, the interest in the words, the development of a useful skill, the pleasure of successful communication, and using it as the fuel to make real improvement.
