At the American Red Cross, I’ve been dedicated to ensuring smooth and efficient blood drives since July 2020. Leading teams of two to thirteen members, I strive to create a positive experience for our donors, often managing over 40 donors per drive. My role involves critical work in various research studies, such as the Rallybio Human Platelet Antigen (HPA-1a) and Covid-19 Antibody testing. Clear communication is essential, as I coordinate between supervisors, donor reps, and colleagues to provide valuable feedback and ensure accurate blood collection. This position has honed my ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while supporting our mission with professionalism and adaptability.

Being part of the Rip City Crew for the Portland Trail Blazers was an exhilarating experience. From August 2019 to August 2023, I had the honor of engaging with fans and promoting team initiatives during high-energy basketball games and community events. As a brand ambassador, I leveraged my communication skills to support the Blazers’ outreach programs, connecting with fans and contributing to the team’s vibrant culture.

For nearly a decade, I had the joy of coaching figure skating at the Winterhawks Skating Center. Working with skaters from beginners to competitive athletes, I developed tailored conditioning programs to help each skater shine. Staying current with coaching standards through ongoing professional development was crucial. This role allowed me to blend my passion for skating with mentoring, helping young athletes reach their full potential.

My time as a Medical Scribe at Oregon Health and Science University was incredibly enriching. Documenting clinical encounters across specialties like Internal Medicine, and Pediatric Craniofacial Plastic Surgery using EPIC software taught me the importance of precision. I supported providers by tracking patient admissions, rounds, and discharges, ensuring efficient patient care. This role sharpened my attention to detail and organizational skills, deepening my understanding of the medical field.
