By necessity, this requires I communicate with key stakeholders, have a deep understanding of organizational processes and procedures, and can adapt to the ever evolving technology industry. All of this coalesces into my leading my team to both exceeding goals and facilitating change maturity without sacrificing quality of the application code and runtime environments.Customer focus is a key element of supporting my clients, both internal and external. I explore new technologies and paradigms to better suit increased demand from our client base. I’ve done this by acting both strategically and tactically to ensure that we satisfy our customers. I seek to drive my associates to grow professionally to better support our customer base and make the team stronger and more effective. This effort added new quality scans to identify issues earlier in the life cycle and reduce technical debt.• Planned with core leadership team to migrate application code from ClearCase to Git. This allowed the organization to gather data and build a quality metric for the organization to identify our areas of opportunity. Due to this effort, SCM can objectively measure the quality of code across multiple levels-organization, service, application, & file.• The retirement of ClearCase saves the firm approximately $300,000 per year.• Part of management team responsible for migrating $65 billion in assets for a newly acquired division from former financial company’s data center over to the existing data center.• Lead automation effort to reduce manual builds, resulting in saved person hours of approximately 300 hours per month. (5 minutes per build @ 4000 builds per month), which results in nearly $500,000 annual savings (3600 hours @ $120/hourly rate).• Collaborating with other managers to formulate, pilot, and institutionalize development operations paradigm to the organization, leveraging open source technology and cloud computing.• Manage resources for various projects involving onboarding of new financial institutions to meet aggressive deadlines.• Maintained existing staffing levels for build team, while the organization was growing through new application development as well as acquisitions.• Managing migration of acquired application development resources from vendor data center to existing data center.
