I am an enthusiastic, flexible and able person. I spent over a year at BAE Systems working primarily in a Project Accounting role as a full time employee. This was an incredible experience, through which I developed a strong network and a passion to explore as much of the business as I could. I remained enthusiastic to advance my problem solving and communication skills throughout my time there, resulting in two Impact Awards for team work and collaboration.I spent the summer of 2021 at Moore UK Chartered Accountants working in the audit department on several group audits, which was a fascinating experience (see reference below). I am a capable problem solver who is constantly thinking about a wide range of topics.My achievements include:- Created and Co-hosted presentations in front of over 600 people at BAE Systems- Was a member of the Sustainability Working Group at BAE Systems, working directly on Sustainability Week 2023- Received an award for modernising processes with the goal of reducing time spent on massive repeatable tasks- Raised money for charity by swimming in the Great North Swim- Competed nationally in swimming and rowing- Completed the Ten Tors Challenge and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme- Trained as an advanced skier both on and off piste at temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius- Taken part in and completed multiple internships - Qualified First Aider and Light Watercraft level 2I also enjoy mathematics and economics, specifically market analysis and market trend projections. My other interests include writing, which I have excelled at from a young age (obtaining a distinction on the English Speaking Board at the age of 6 and participating in poetry as well as descriptive writing events since the age of 11), and music, for which I have achieved grade 6 in violin and grade 4 in singing. I have been very fortunate to obtain and excel in a variety of disciplines so far and I hope to continue to gain new skills and experiences in order to utilise them to build my career and thus my future.
